Connie Marie Hyde
Hyde, Connie Marie 70, of Minneapolis, died Friday night, Nov. 27, 2020 unexpectedly in her sleep. She was the beloved daughter of Helen Murphy (94) and the late Maurice (Lefty) Hyde. Aside from the adventure of a lifetime living in Hawaii, Connie lived most of her life in and around her Minneapolis birthplace. Connie was wholly dedicated to her mother, Helen, and her daughter, Lesa. She always said that two of the best days of her life were when her big brother, Lefty, returned home safely from Vietnam and when her daughter was born a few months later -raising Lesa was one of her proudest accomplishments. Connie had a passion for jewelry design and fabricated beautiful pieces that are cherished by family and friends. She was also an avid animal lover who spoiled her dogs as children. Connie is survived by her mother, Helen Murphy; brother, Joseph (Dayle) Hyde; daughter, Lesa Peterson (Rich); niece and nephew, Danielle and James. Special thanks to Tom Arneson, who provided years of support and friendship and Mike Loren, who provided the last years of her life with joy and contentment. Due to COVID-19 no services are planned.
